The start of the new year is always looked upon with anticipation of a new beginning. A world where our desires which are endless will be met be it a new job, a new boss or the vacation we have been dreaming forever. The excitement fades as we move through the year. Our monkey minds needs and desires change or are unmet, the magical becomes the ordinary
Why not look at the new year as a moment of time then? A moment when we can be anything or nothing.
· A moment when we thank the universe for what it has bestowed us with now rather than dwelling in new and endless cravings.
· A moment when we allow things to happen rather than trying to control the future.
· A moment when the heart decides the way forward, not the mind.
· A moment where we look at all things with appreciation rather than endless complains
· A moment where the momentary is transcended by the extraordinary in everything.
· A moment of giving rather than receiving
· A moment of prayer for others than just for ourselves
· A moment of thanking the five elements rather than plundering them
· A moment to look up at the sky, the stars, the moon and think how powerless we are.
· A moment to move beyond bondage to freedom.
· A moment to thank that job for what it provides rather than be unhappy
· A moment to be imaginative than to be tedious.
· A moment to STOP rather than scroll.
· A moment of love rather than hatred
· A moment of timeless rather than the time
· A moment of surrender rather than planning
· A moment of harmony than discord
· A moment of reflection rather than impulsiveness
· A moment of peace not discord
· A moment to see how far we have come rather than what we have lost or not got
· A moment of STOP in a busy day
· A moment to enjoy the change of seasons and not decry the change.
· A moment to accept your feelings not fight them.
· A moment of freshness not staleness
A moment is all there is!
